🎬 Behind the Scenes: Building Season

This month felt like momentum.

Coffee chats.
Networking events.
Two sessions with my business coach (who is a ruthless mentor and tells me the truth even when it stings 😅).

I’ve been pouring into growth.

Now it’s time to scale.

Scaling = systems.
And I told my husband, “I cannot keep manually sending contracts and invoices.”

He always says, “You’ll figure it out.”

And somehow… I do.

I've learned: Canva. Kit. Stripe. Filming content. Editing reels.

If there’s one thing about me? I will learn the skill.

💛 Life Lately: The Tug to Go All In

I’ve been feeling that pull. The “go all in” feeling.

And the stress from the day job? Not fun.

This business started during maternity leave. And now…

I signed 2 retainer clients — hitting my revenue goal. A commercial transaction that could replace my 9–5 income.

Even typing that feels scary.

But also? Wildly empowering.

Consulting can pay more than a traditional job.
Who knew?

(Okay… I did. But still.)

💰 Budget Tip of the Month: Tax Season Edition

Let’s use this season strategically.

When you meet with your tax professional, ask:

• “What tax strategies should I be working toward this year?”
• “Should we schedule a mid-year planning session?”
• “Am I optimizing retirement contributions?”

Tax planning isn’t something you think about in April only.

It’s a year-round wealth strategy.

📊 Retirement Reality Check

I cannot stress this enough:

If you left an old job…
👉 Take that retirement account with you.

If you signed up for your 401(k) years ago and haven’t checked it?
👉 Look at the annual returns.

Ask yourself:

• What’s my stock vs. bond mix?
• Does this match my age + retirement timeline?
• Am I unintentionally sitting in conservative funds earning 3%?

This is your reminder. Not from shame. From strategy.
