β
Hi friend π
March is giving momentum β and I'm not slowing down. This month's newsletter is packed a BIG announcement, some real behind-the-scenes honesty, a life update that honestly still has me in my feelings, and your money tip of the month.
Grab your coffee. Let's get into it.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I Left My Corporate Job
I did it. I walked away from the 9-to-5 β and I have never felt more aligned.
This is something I've been building toward quietly, intentionally, and honestly a little nervously for a while now. And this month, I made it official.
I am now running both of my businesses full time:
- βProsperity Planning β financial coaching for women who are done leaving money on the table
- βAvina Consulting β fractional HR services for small business CEOs who need senior HR expertise without the full-time cost
This is what the quiet math leads to. This is what betting on yourself looks like up close.
If you've been on this journey with me β thank you. You've watched this grow from a dream on maternity leave into something real. And we're just getting started.

π Ready to get serious about your own wealth plan? Keep reading β I've got something for you below.
Even as I write this, it's a little scary. But here's what I know: when the math starts making sense and the calling gets louder, you listen. Consulting can pay more than a 9-to-5, and once you see that, you can't unsee it.
The tug on my heart won. I went all in. π€

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Estate Planning IG Live β Watch the Replay
We had the conversation that too many women are putting off β and it was a good one.
I sat down with an Estate Planning Attorney on Instagram Live to talk about what it actually takes to protect the wealth you're building. We covered wills, trusts, what happens to your assets, and why this conversation can't wait until "someday."
If you missed it live, the replay is up. Go watch it, take notes, and then ask yourself: Do I have a plan in place?

I WAS ON A PODCAST β And We Talked About Your Kids
β
This one hit close to home for me as a mom.
I had the honor of being a guest on the Beyond Screen Families podcast, where we talked about raising money-smart kids β and why the financial conversations we have (or don't have) at home shape everything.
We got into how to start the money conversation early, how to make it age-appropriate, and how building wealth isn't just about you β it's about what you're modeling for the next generation.
Give it a listen, then share it with a mom in your life who's thinking about this too.

MARCH IG LIVE RECAP: The Quiet Math Moms Do
β
My final Instagram Live of the month? Chef's kiss.
I sat down with another mom who is in the middle of a career pivot β and we got into something I don't think gets talked about enough: the quiet math moms do in their head.
You know what I mean. The mental calculations running in the background every single day β Can we afford this? What if I leave my job? What does this cost our family long-term? That constant, invisible mental load that nobody sees but every mom feels.
We spoke honestly about the fear, the math, and what it actually looks like to make a leap when you're a mother with real responsibilities and real stakes.
If you're a mom considering a pivot β in your career, your finances, or both β this one was for you.

MONEY MOVE OF THE MONTH: Tax Season + Retirement Check-In
Two things you need to do right now:
1. Make your tax appointment work harder for you. Don't just hand over your documents and wait. Ask your tax professional:
- "What tax strategies should I be working toward this year?"
- "Can we schedule a mid-year planning check-in?"
Most people only think about taxes in April. The people building wealth are thinking about them year-round.
2. Review your retirement accounts β seriously.
- Left an old job? Roll that account over. Don't leave money sitting somewhere doing nothing.
- Haven't looked at your 401(k) since you enrolled? Log in. Check your returns.
- Do you know your stock vs. bond allocation? Does it still make sense for your goals?
This is the kind of thing that feels boring until you realize how much it costs you to ignore it.
